I hate my body.

Nothing superficial about it, I just hate that it’s such a limited form.

First of all I’m confined to one shape, which is in and of itself ludicrous. If I were amorphic I’d be able to reconstitute myself into any shape or size. I think I would let my daily emotional state define my appearance in that case.

Second, all my senses are dull. Smell, touch, taste, sight and hearing. Whatever. Five fuckin senses like I picked up my bits and pieces at the bottom of a Value-Plus bargin bin. I’m sure that if I had an extra 5 senses I would be enjoying the shit outta life that much more.

Not to mention this body requires food and sleep. These are non negotiable necessities. The body will not survive without them. Why the hell not? Why aren’t I self sustaining? Why can’t I shut down and rest certain parts of my body at a time so that I’m not wasting all night in bed? How come my body doesn’t convert it’s own waste into reusable energy?

Bad engineering, that’s why.
